Supply Chain Executive
Currently working at Mughal Steel, Lahore as a Supply Chain Executive. As a Supply Chain Executive my responsibilities are:
• Implementing Overall Supply Chain Strategies in which we manage networks and services between suppliers and company without causing any hurdles.
• Good experience of giving trainings to 03-persons team of Non-Ferrous in Supply Chain Department.
• Having an experience of Importing more than 100,000 MT Non-Ferrous material in a year.
• Collaborating with Logistics Team regarding allocations, releasing of BLs, booking plans etc., with Finance & Accounts Team regarding allocation of Banks for Payment to Suppliers through Letter of Credit, Open Account & Bank Contracts and provide established credit details and collaborating with Sales Team by sharing the pictures of loading material which is at port and other details about quantity, origin etc. for locally selling purpose.
• Coordinating with Suppliers regarding Copy Documents, BLs, BL Drafts & loading pictures to avoid any type of delay.
• Tracking Shipments which or On Port on Daily Basis by using shipment tracking websites like MSC, MAERSK, HAPAG LLOYD, CMA CGM etc. and DP WORLD for berthing schedules.
• Managing the Shipping Documents from Suppliers and providing to Clearing Agents before Estimated Time of Arrival of Shipments.
• Insurance Certificates scrutiny and proceed payments.
• Coordinating with Suppliers about ordering and loading status of shipments, Finance Department and Banks regarding LCs and Bank Contracts Opening & all related matters and Providing Shipping Instructions to Logistics Team for Allocation.
Intern
• Got training in Logistics & Supply Chain, Warehouse and Inventory Management Departments.
• Learned about Stock In and Stock Out Processes of products by using DMS and Salesflo Softwares.
• Got learnings in Supply Chain and Logistics department such as understanding the flow of goods and services from distribution to customers, analyzing and optimizing transportation routes, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
• Learned about Inventory Management Techniques such as LIFO, FIFO, Stock Norms, and Stocking Heights etc.
• Learned about Warehouse Operations such as receiving and inspecting incoming goods, storing and organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and shipping products to customers. I learned to use DMS and Salesflo Softwares to track inventory levels, monitor order fulfillment, and manage warehouse operations efficiently.
